The problem

Counterfeits and unauthorized sellers will eat your margin if you let them.

A single hijacker on your Buy Box can tank conversion overnight, generate negative reviews against your brand, and force you to compete with knock-offs at half your MAP. The defense is procedural, and it needs someone running it every week.

  • No registered or pending trademark, so you can't access Brand Registry tools at all
  • Brand Registry enrolled but Brand Analytics, Brand Story, and Sponsored Brands unused
  • Unauthorized resellers winning the Buy Box on your top SKUs
  • MAP violations across Amazon, Walmart, and eBay with no enforcement workflow
  • Counterfeit listings appearing on your branded search terms
  • No serialization or anti-counterfeit program in a high-risk category
Our approach

Defense in layers: trademark, registry, serialization, enforcement.

We treat IP protection as a system, not a one-time enrollment. Every layer reduces the surface area a bad actor can exploit.

01

Trademark & registry foundation

We file through IP Accelerator if you don't have a trademark yet, or enroll your existing registration into Brand Registry. Once in, we set up Brand Story, A+ content, and Brand Analytics access for your team.

02

Transparency & serialization

For high-counterfeit categories, we set up Transparency so every unit shipped into FBA carries a scan-validated code. Counterfeit units physically can't enter the FBA network without one.

03

Ongoing enforcement

Weekly Buy Box monitoring, unauthorized seller takedowns through IP and policy complaints, Project Zero self-service removals, MAP violation tracking, and case work with Seller Support and legal counsel.

FAQ

Questions executives actually ask.

What is Amazon Brand Registry and who qualifies?

Brand Registry is Amazon's program for trademarked brands. You need an active registered or pending trademark in the country you're registering in. Once enrolled you unlock A+ content, Sponsored Brands, the Brand Story module, Brand Analytics, Transparency, Project Zero, and stronger IP enforcement tools.

Do I need a registered trademark or just an application?

Amazon now accepts pending trademarks through the IP Accelerator program. You can also enroll with a fully registered trademark from USPTO or any qualifying jurisdiction. Filing through IP Accelerator usually gets you into Brand Registry within weeks rather than the 6-12 months a full registration takes.

What can I do against counterfeit or unauthorized sellers?

Through Brand Registry you can submit IP complaints, request listing takedowns, enroll in Transparency (per-unit serialization), and join Project Zero for self-service removals. We handle MAP enforcement, test buys for evidence, and the case work to keep your Buy Box clean.

What is Transparency and is it worth it?

Transparency adds a unique code to every unit you ship into FBA. Amazon scans the code at the warehouse and refuses inbound for any unit without one. It's the most reliable defense against counterfeits but adds operational cost, usually worth it for brands above $5M ARR or in high-counterfeit categories like beauty and supplements.

Can you help with hijackers on my Buy Box?

Yes. We monitor unauthorized seller activity, run test buys to gather evidence, and submit IP and policy complaints through Brand Registry. For repeat offenders we escalate through Project Zero and pursue cease-and-desist with your legal counsel.

Does Brand Registry change my MAP enforcement?

Brand Registry gives you the tools (IP complaints, Transparency, Project Zero) but doesn't enforce MAP on its own. We build the MAP policy, monitor pricing across marketplaces, and run the enforcement workflow, test buys, warning letters, account terminations.

Need help cleaning up your Buy Box?

We'll run a free scan of your top 10 ASINs, identify unauthorized sellers, MAP violations, and counterfeit listings, and send back a written enforcement plan.
